It’s raining pretty consistently here and looking at radar, there is a huge band and it is just moving north, not out. Looks like it will be pouring till early afternoon. I think I’ll ride this afternoon instead.

Brilliant, Consider me in for the "eat first/then ride" concept. Why not charge up (energy) then ride.....lunch can always become a "in route possibility".
